What a Katy appointment involves
Greater Katy spans three counties and dozens of master-planned communities, each with its own association. Here is how we handle the practical side.
A Katy address isn't always the City of Katy
The City of Katy sits where Harris, Fort Bend and Waller counties meet, and many homes with a Katy postal address are outside city limits. We serve the whole Greater Katy area, including ZIP codes 77449, 77450, 77493 and 77494.
Gated sections
Some Katy communities have gated sections, such as Avalon in Seven Meadows and the gated section of Firethorne. Send your gate code or guest-access instructions with your request so we arrive without a wait at the gate.
Association parking rules
Some Katy associations, such as Cinco Ranch's, have rules on where commercial vehicles may be parked. Our visit lasts a few hours, we park where your association allows, and never on the lawn. If your association has rules for service vendors, tell us and we'll follow them.
Water restrictions
The City of Katy and local water districts announce drought stages. In 2023, a Stage 3 order limited car washing for City of Katy water customers. We carry our own water, but we follow whatever restriction applies at your address and reschedule with you if washing isn't allowed.

Yes. We serve Greater Katy, not just the City of Katy, including ZIP codes 77449, 77450, 77493 and 77494 and communities such as Cinco Ranch, Grand Lakes, Seven Meadows, Elyson and Cane Island.
Do you need my water or power?
Usually not. Azul carries a 40-gallon water tank and an onboard generator, so your water and power are helpful but generally not required. If we're detailing several vehicles at one address, access to water can help, but it isn't automatically required.
Can you get into a gated section like Avalon at Seven Meadows?
Yes. Include your gate code or guest-access instructions when you send your request, or tell us who to call at the gate. We confirm access before the appointment.
What happens if Katy or my water district is in a drought stage?
We follow the restriction that applies at your address. If the current stage doesn't allow vehicle washing, we'll reschedule with you rather than work around it.
Is there a travel fee to Katy?
Travel fees are not automatically charged anywhere in the greater Houston area. Extended-distance or special-location appointments are reviewed individually before we confirm, and we tell you before anything is booked.
How much does mobile detailing cost in Katy?

How long does a mobile detail take?
A Full Detail takes about 3 to 4 hours, depending on vehicle size and condition. An Exterior Detail takes about 1.5 to 2.5 hours, an interior detail about 2.5 to 4.5 hours, and ceramic coating about 6 to 10 or more hours on site.
